How to join the German jail server

1. Launch Counter-Strike 2 and open the developer console, then enter: connect play.hummeljail.de:27015
2. Console disabled? Enable it under Settings, Game, Enable Developer Console and open it with the tilde key.
3. Questions and feedback go to the Discord, which is in German as well.

What is CS2 jailbreak?

Jailbreak (JB) is a Counter-Strike community mode. A small group plays guards (CT), everyone else plays prisoners (T). The guards give orders. The prisoners follow them or rebel.

• Warden: One CT leads the round and gives the orders. A prisoner who ignores an order or picks up a weapon counts as a rebel.
• Prisoners (T): Follow orders, rebel, or survive until the last request.
• Last request: The last prisoner alive picks a 1v1 against a guard, for example knife fight or shot for shot.
• Minigames and RTD: The warden calls games such as Simon Says or a race. With !rtd you roll a random effect, good or bad.

A German jail server: everything runs in German

• Server in Germany: Low ping in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and across the EU.
• German only: Menus, warden orders, voice and chat are in German. Nothing is translated, and to follow a round you need to understand the orders.
• Community-run: Many plugins are written for this server, including its own RTD effects. Feedback goes to the Discord.

More than jailbreak: Stamm, gangs, store and skins

These systems are used through chat in-game. !help lists every command.

• Stamm: The level system. You get XP for playing, for surviving rounds and for kills, plus a daily bonus for every day in a row. !stamm shows your progress, !top the top 10.
• Gangs: Found a gang, invite players, collect gang credits and unlock perks. Everything through !gang.
• Store and casino: You earn store credits by playing. The !store has skins, trails and tags. You can also stake credits on coinflip, crash, hi-lo and slots.
• Skins: Pick weapon skins, knife and gloves with !ws, !knife and !gloves.
• Emotes and dances: Through !emote and !dance.
• Special days: The warden puts a special day to a vote with !sd, for example speedrun, ghost or warday.
• Refuse, surrender, warning shot: Prisoners type !v or !e. CTs hold E and shoot: no damage, the prisoner flashes orange.

The server is in open beta

The server is running and open to everyone, but it is not finished. Plugins, the map rotation and the rules are still being worked on. Feedback goes to the Discord.

• Bugs: Report them with the map name and the time.
• Maps and games: Missing a map, a minigame or an LR? Post it on Discord.
• Rules: What is too strict or too loose about warning shots, refusing, freeday or war gets discussed with the regulars.
