Hummeljail is a German CS2 jailbreak server (jail server) hosted in Germany: low ping across the EU and an active German-speaking community. English speakers are welcome - just know that rounds, orders and chat all run in German. Guards versus prisoners, last request duels, minigames and roll-the-dice, every single round. The server is currently in open beta.

What is CS2 jailbreak?

Jailbreak (JB) is a classic Counter-Strike community mode: a small group of guards (CT) runs the jail, everyone else plays prisoners (T). Guards give orders - prisoners obey, look for loopholes, or openly rebel.

  • Guards (CT / Warden) - One CT takes command and gives the group clear orders. Anyone who disobeys or picks up a weapon becomes a rebel.
  • Prisoners (T) - Follow orders, find gaps, rebel, or survive until the last request.
  • Last Request - The last prisoner alive earns a fair 1v1 duel against a guard, from knife fights to shot-for-shot.
  • Minigames & RTD - Simon Says, races, obstacle courses and a roll-the-dice system with fun effects keep every round different.

  • Hosted in Germany - Very low ping for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and comfortable ping for the entire EU.
  • German is the server language - Rounds, warden orders and chat are in German. Nobody gets kicked for writing English, but expect to pick up the handful of standard commands rather than to be translated for.
  • Free to play - No paywall. All you need is Counter-Strike 2 on Steam.
  • Community-run - Fair admins, an active Discord and custom features like RTD.

The server is in open beta

Hummeljail is up, open to everyone and free to play - but it is not finished. Plugins are still being tuned, the map rotation keeps growing, and the rules get their polish while the server runs. What you play is a beta, and we would rather say so up front than afterwards.

That is exactly why now is the best time to join in: ideas, map requests, rule suggestions, balance criticism and bug reports all go to the same place - our Discord. Play early and you shape how this server ends up being played.

  • Report bugs - Plugin acting up, minigame counting wrong, map not loading? Tell us on Discord, ideally with the map name and the time.
  • Ideas and requests - Missing a minigame, a map, an LR mode? Say so while everything is still movable.
  • Shape the rules - Warning shot, refusing a game, freeday, war: what is too strict or too loose gets decided together with the regulars.
  • Become a regular - Beta is the phase where random rounds turn into a community. Prime time is posted on Discord.
