Last Request in CS2 Jailbreak
A last request (LR) is the duel the final surviving prisoner earns in CS2 jailbreak: instead of simply being shot, that prisoner challenges a single CT to a fair 1v1. This guide covers how an LR works, the most popular last requests, the rules that apply and how to win your duel on Hummeljail, a German CS2 jail server.
What is a last request?
As soon as only one prisoner is left alive, the normal round ends. Instead of simply being shot, the last T has the right to a last request: that prisoner picks a duel and a CT opponent, and both play it out under fixed, fair conditions.
If the prisoner wins, the prisoner escapes the round and the Ts take it. If the prisoner loses, the round goes to the CTs. The last request rewards whoever made it to the end - through obedience or through a well-executed rebellion.
How an LR works
- 1. Last T alive - You are the final surviving prisoner and receive the LR right automatically.
- 2. Pick your LR - The in-game LR menu lets you choose both the duel and your CT opponent.
- 3. Play the duel - Both sides stick to the conditions of the chosen LR. Other CTs do not interfere.
- 4. Result - The winner decides the round, and the next round then starts normally.
The LR menu inside the game shows which last requests are currently available on Hummeljail - the selection is extended regularly.
The most popular last requests
You will find these LR classics on almost every jailbreak server, ranging from pure skill duels to pure gambling:
- Knife fight - The classic knife duel. Knives only, equal health, the better player wins.
- Shot for shot (S4S) - Alternating single shots with a Deagle or pistol. Whoever drops first loses. Never shoot out of turn.
- No-scope duel - AWP without zoom. A pure aim and movement duel.
- Dodgeball - Throwing instead of shooting: whoever is hit by a grenade first loses.
- Race / parkour - A race across the map or through a parkour section. First one to the finish wins.
- Gun toss - Both players throw their weapon as far as possible. The longest throw wins.
- Rock paper scissors - The classic as a game of chance, where only your poker face counts.
- Russian roulette - Pulling the trigger in turns with one bullet in the chamber. Maximum tension, zero skill.
- Headshot only - A duel in which only headshots deal damage. Precision decides.
Rules during the last request
- Play fair - Both sides stick exactly to the conditions of the LR. Cheating the format, for example double-shooting in S4S, forfeits the duel.
- No interference - Other CTs only watch. Interfering in a running LR earns a punishment.
- No delaying - The LR is started and played promptly, not dragged out until the round timer runs down.
The full server rules covering last request, rebellion and freeday are shown in-game and posted on our Discord.
Tips: how to win your LR
- Pick to your strength - Good aim? Take S4S or no-scope. Good movement? Take race. Not sure? Take a coin-flip duel like rock paper scissors.
- Pick your opponent - You choose the CT. Watch during the round to see who is playing weakly, then challenge exactly that player.
- Know the map - Race and parkour duels are won by whoever knows the shortcuts. Our CS2 jailbreak maps guide explains the typical areas of every jb_ map.
- Stay calm - The whole server is watching. Players who get hectic lose first, especially in S4S and roulette.
